Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information VoxCut ("VoxCut", "the service", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. VoxCut is an AI video editing and publishing service for creators.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address and username.
  • Uploaded content — the video, audio, and image files you upload for editing.
  • Generated content — captions, transcriptions, clips, hooks, and other output created from your content.
  • Connected social account metadata — basic account identifiers and channel/profile details from accounts you connect.
  • OAuth tokens — access and refresh tokens for connected platforms, stored encrypted at rest (see Section 4).
  • Billing metadata — plan, subscription, and transaction references. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors, not stored by VoxCut.
  • Marketing preference — whether and when you explicitly chose to receive product news and offers, the consent form version, and when you unsubscribed.
  • Logs and technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and service logs used for security, debugging, and operating the service.

2. How we use information

  • To edit, render, and transcode your videos and generate clips.
  • To create captions and transcriptions from your media.
  • To publish or schedule clips to social accounts when you ask us to.
  • To secure your account and verify your email address.
  • To process billing, subscriptions, and credits.
  • To send product news and offers only when you have explicitly opted in. You can withdraw that choice at any time.
  • To operate, debug, and improve the service and prevent abuse.

3. Third-party processors

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate VoxCut:

  • Brevo — transactional and verification email, plus optional marketing email for users who explicitly opt in.
  • Google / YouTube Data API — connecting your YouTube account and uploading videos you choose.
  • TikTok APIs — connecting your TikTok account and publishing clips you select (once the integration is approved and enabled).
  • Meta / Instagram APIs — connecting your Instagram account and publishing clips you select (once enabled).
  • Stripe and NOWPayments — payment processing.
  • Hosting and storage providers — running the service and storing files and data.

Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

4. OAuth tokens and connected accounts

When you connect a social account, you authorize VoxCut through that platform's official OAuth flow. VoxCut never receives or stores your social platform password. The access tokens we receive are encrypted at rest and are used only to perform actions you explicitly request — such as uploading or publishing a clip you selected. We do not sell tokens or use them to read or collect data beyond what is needed for the actions you initiate. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from the Publish page, which revokes VoxCut's stored access.

5. Your content ownership

You own the content you upload and the outputs generated from it. We process your content only to provide the service. We do not use your private uploads or generated clips to train third-party models or sell them.

6. Data retention and deletion

By default, projects and uploaded files are automatically deleted after approximately three (3) days to limit how long your media is stored. Certain owner or unlimited accounts may retain projects for longer where that is part of the account configuration. You can also delete individual projects yourself at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@voxcut.org.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can access and update your account information, delete your projects, disconnect connected social accounts, and request deletion of your account and data. To make a request, contact support@voxcut.org.

Marketing email is optional and is not required to use VoxCut. You can change this choice in Settings or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. Unsubscribing does not stop essential account, security, billing, or service communications.

8. Cookies and local storage

VoxCut uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (for example, your session token) and to remember basic preferences. We use cookies and similar technologies only as needed to operate and secure the service.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of connected-account tokens at rest and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit retention of uploaded media.

10. Children and minors

VoxCut is not intended for children. You must meet the minimum age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International transfer and hosting

VoxCut is operated using cloud hosting and storage providers, and your data may be processed and stored in data centers located in other countries. By using the service you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.

13. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent to support@voxcut.org.
