Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VoxCut, an AI video editing and publishing service ("VoxCut", "the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VoxCut.

1. What VoxCut does

VoxCut is a web-based tool that helps creators edit and repurpose video. Features include AI-assisted editing, automatic captions and transcription, Clip Factory (generating vertical short-form clips), viral hook suggestions, background music and voiceover previews, watermarks, and the ability to publish or schedule finished clips to social accounts you connect.

2. User accounts

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address, which may be used for verification and essential service communications. Product news and promotional email is optional and is sent only if you separately opt in. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use VoxCut.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the video, audio, images, and other material you upload ("User Content"). You grant VoxCut a limited license to store, process, transcode, and transform your User Content solely to provide the service to you — for example, to render edits, generate captions and clips, and publish content at your request. We do not claim ownership of your User Content and do not sell it.

4. Your responsibility for rights and copyright

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all material you upload and publish through VoxCut, including video footage, music, images, and any third-party content. You must not upload or publish material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights, or that violates the rules of any connected platform. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your User Content.

5. AI-generated captions, hooks, edits, and clips

VoxCut uses automated and AI systems to generate captions, transcriptions, hook suggestions, edits, and short clips. These outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or fitness of AI-generated results.

6. Connecting social accounts

You may connect third-party social accounts (such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram) through their official OAuth authorization flows. VoxCut never asks for or stores your social platform passwords. When you connect an account, we receive an access token that is stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you request. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from the Publish page, which revokes VoxCut's stored access.

7. Publishing and scheduling

Publishing and scheduling only happen as a result of your explicit action — selecting a clip, entering its details, and choosing to publish or schedule it to a connected account. VoxCut does not post on your behalf without your instruction. Once approved and configured, uploads are sent to the connected platform through its official API. YouTube uploads are currently supported; TikTok and Instagram publishing is provided through the intended official-API flow as those integrations are enabled and approved.

8. Third-party platforms

VoxCut integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages, content moderation decisions, or actions taken by those platforms, and a platform may reject or remove content for reasons outside our control.

9. Prohibited use

You agree not to use VoxCut to:

  • upload, generate, or publish unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harmful content;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • violate the terms, rate limits, or policies of any connected platform;
  • attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the security or integrity of the service;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the service or its APIs; or
  • use the service to send spam or deceptive content.

10. Payments, subscriptions, and credits

Some features require a paid plan, subscription, or credits. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (Stripe and NOWPayments); we do not store your full payment card details. Fees, plan limits, and credit allowances are shown at the point of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

VOXCUT25 relaunch offer

Eligible verified VoxCut accounts on the Free plan can receive 25% off the first monthly card payment for Creator, Pro, or Business by applying VOXCUT25. The offer ends October 8, 2026 at 23:59 UTC or after 100 successful redemptions, whichever happens first. It does not apply to trials, yearly plans, desktop products, cryptocurrency payments, or AnyPay, and cannot be combined with another offer. The subscription renews at the regular monthly price after the discounted first payment.

11. Service availability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Uploaded projects and files may be automatically deleted after a retention period (see our Privacy Policy), so you should keep your own copies of source material.

12. Disclaimer

VoxCut is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxCut and the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.

14. Termination

You may stop using VoxCut and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends and associated content may be deleted.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
